This error seems to be cropping up for some clients, and it seems to be related to clients who have upgraded to Windows 11. If you are getting this error, and are not in Windows 11, please email us at support@maxcutsoftware.com.
We are in the process on providing a fix for this bug, but in the meantime there is a workaround which should temporarily resolve your issue until we have a permanent fix in place.
Please do the following:
1. Close MaxCut
2. Right click on the MaxCut logo on your desktop and select "Properties"
3. Click on the Compatibility tab. Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Click the drop down and select Windows 8 and then Apply.
This should solve your issue for the time being.
