Optimize by Input Item Groups

As an example, I am currently dealing with 56 sheets of material and roughly 45 cabinets... in my small one man shop with a table saw. 

I would love to be able to optimize the layouts by Input Item Group so I can deal with only "X" sheets of material at a time and have all the components for a group/cabinet.

Another way to put this: I would like all components of a Group to be within 'X' sheets of each other. 

Instead, I may have to cut up all 56 sheets and sort the components before building anything. This should also reduce the number of saw set ups I need. 

Multiple files would do the trick, but wouldn't optimize the material across the whole job.
