Hi all, it sounds like your settings files are corrupt. To confirm this follow the steps listed in this post.

Hi Andres, when does this error happen. Does it happen directly when you try and open the program or just after clicking a specific button?

Same here. It happens when starting Maxcut. Happened since v 2.1.75. Is it related to locale?

@bogdan, could you send us details on what your locale is so I can try and replicate it my end?

My locale is RO (Romanian), but I changed to all EN_US (locale, location, keyboard etc) and the error still remains the same (with the RO error message "Eroarea este:" which is "Error is:"). Win 10 Pro with latest updates.

@bogdan, how are you changing the locale if the error happens when you start MaxCut?

Ah, I was talking about the locale in Win 10, as obviously I cannot start Maxcut :). I still have a non-updated version 2.8.1.163 which I access remotely on an old computer, otherwise any fresh install gives the above error.

I have the similar problem! I have tried to download the FREE one.

I am running Win7-64bit and had installed maxcut last year and it worked fine to layout my pieces for making Honey Bee Swarm Traps.

This year It won't run and when I tried to Download and Install the latest edition the Installer won't run and the folder in the start menu has nothing in it.

I have gone into the registry and searched and deleted numerous instances of it in the registry and it still won't reset and/or ReInstall on the Harddrive.
