    Please can you send me a copy of your Maxcut backup (File -> Backup -> Create Backup), as well as the csv file you are having issues with.

    You can email this info to support@maxcutsoftware.com.  I can then investigate why you are getting this issue.

    Please include the information you have provided above in your email as well.

    This problem is occurring as follows, it is the first time that I installed this program I did as everyone has done in videos on the internet about how to import these Excel CSV files to put the data in Max Cut, but every time I do this gives the error and does not download the data from the CSV file. I've tried everything that was, using a plugin within Sketchup the Cut List plugin that automatically generates a CSV file when creating a spreadsheet in Excel and saving it in CSV format, in no way does Max Cut import the data. And as for backup I don't have any since I installed Max Cut and I couldn't use it.

    Este caminho que você disse (Arquivo -> Backup -> Criar backup) não existe no Max Cut versão 2.8.1.83

    E como eu disse é a primeira vez que tento usar este programa, nunca o tinha instalado no meu computador, e quando fui importar um arquivo CSV ele não importa os dados dá um erro e não baixe os dados. Estou anexando as imagens do passo a passo que faço para importar os arquivos CSV até que ocorra o erro.

    Hi Alexandre,

    Your file does not appear to have enough of the information required to do an import.

    Please watch the following video which will show you what information you would need in order to import successfully;

    https://player.vimeo.com/video/142236909

    Please remember to import panels with a specific sheet material, the sheet material should already be saved in Maxcut and the name of the materials must be the same in the csv file as it is in Maxcut.

    If this is still not working, please send me a copy of your Maxcut backup (Open Maxcut and go to File -> Backup -> Create Backup), as well as the csv file you are having issues with.

    I was having the same issue. I don't know if this is gonna work for everybody, but this is how I fixed:

    On "Input Items" tab, click on "Item Defaults" (it´s the last icon on the toolbar) , then select "Unrecognizable Item". Select form the list a default item for unrecognizable items (eg. Panel) and click Ok.

    Import the CSV file. Now, everytime MaxCut can´t identify the item you´re trying to import, it´ll register it as the default item you chose.

    Importing 8.csv is impossible with v2.9. It just keeps loading and then the program closes
