John Palmer Official comment Just an update on this, the next release of MaxCut will be substantially faster in starting up. We are currently testing it and it should be released shortly

Yes, unfortunately it can take some time for the program to open. It is something we are working on and hopefully in the not too distant future, there will be some improvements on the load time.
