MaxCut allows you to set up labour resources to accurately calculate job costs. These resources can include assembly, installation, and delivery, among others.
Adding Labour to a Job
To add a labour item to your job, click Add and select Labour, or double-click on Labour in your library.
In the Labour Item Details dialog, you can:
- Select a labour resource from your Labour Resource Manager.
- Specify the quantity required (e.g., if assembly takes 5 hours, set the quantity to 5).
- Make any relevant notes.
Managing Labour Resources
To manage your labour resources, click on Manage > Labour Resources.
In the Labour Resources Manager, you can:
- Add, edit, or delete resources.
- Set a cost and price for accurate job pricing.
The labour resources added to a job are reflected in the Summary tab and various reports.
Using labour resources ensures your quotes reflect the true cost of work, helping you price jobs efficiently.
